Click to leave your reviewThe WildScan app is an initiative aimed at combating wildlife trafficking by engaging the public in reporting and identifying illegal wildlife products. Through the app, users can report suspicious activities related to the illegal trade of endangered species, such as ivory, rhino horn, and pangolin scales. The collected data is analyzed to assist authorities in targeting and intercepting wildlife traffickers. This collaboration between USAID and Freeland specifically focuses on Southeast Asia, where the illegal wildlife trade is a pressing issue. By empowering individuals and providing vital data for law enforcement, WildScan contributes to efforts in curbing wildlife trafficking and protecting endangered species.
