Nov 18th: Cheap Space, DIY Imaging and Big Data

Watch streaming footage here of John Amos, President of Sky Truth, speaking on Cheap Space, DIY Imaging and Big Data = Good News for Conservation at 10:40am EST on November 18th at the 2015 Fuller Symposium

John Amos founded SkyTruth, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening environmental conservation by illuminating environmental problems and issues through the use of satellite images, aerial photographs, and other kinds of remote sensing and digital mapping. SkyTruth’s work during the BP/Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico revealed that the spill was far bigger than government and industry officials were claiming and generated international media attention.
