Listening to nature how sound can help us understand environmental change

This article discussed early work on modeling how acoustic properties of the environment will change with variations in weather.

In recent work looking at species density metrics and weather data we started to log the impact of psychoacoustic parameters in the establishing of preferential habitats.  I believe there is a lot more work to do focusing on how psychoacoustic qualities are changing with climate impact and how that could drive species migration.  I thought this might be of interest to some of you
