The PI will spearhead research initiatives using cutting-edge video analysis tools to study elephant group dynamics. The position involves working closely with our Long-Term Monitoring Team, skilled Drone Pilots, and a network of global researchers to deliver impactful scientific insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed work programs for the project.
- Manage field data collection, storage, and analysis in collaboration with our scientific and field teams.
- Provide regular updates and communicate findings through high-impact, peer-reviewed publications.
- Lead a diverse team, fostering an environment of creativity and rigorous scientific inquiry.
Who You Are:
- You hold a PhD or Master's degree in Behavioural Science or a related field.
- You have experience with video-based research and/or machine learning.
- Your academic career includes a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- You are adept at managing complex projects and can thrive under challenging field conditions.
