This international conference promises to be a dynamic forum where scientists, regulators, and representatives from industry and environmental groups from around the world will converge to see formal presentations on the effects of anthropogenic sounds on aquatic life. Prague, with its rich history and vibrant atmosphere, sets the perfect backdrop for meaningful discussions and informal opportunities to “network”, share ideas, and learn from one another.

This conference on the Effects of Noise on Aquatic Life in 2025 (AN2025) will be unique compared to other conferences in that it will bring together people interested in effects of sound on aquatic life from diverse interests and backgrounds in an environment that is conducive for the sharing of information and ideas. Such forums are needed in order to make use of complementary knowledge and skills to solve challenges of the effects of sound on aquatic life. The conference will bring together those interested in the potential effects of anthropogenic sounds on aquatic species that ranged from whales, dolphins, seals, turtles, marine birds, fishes and lesser-known taxa including zooplankton, mollusks, and other invertebrates.
