Wireless communication for Jungle

When it comes to long-range communication in the jungle, it can be challenging due to the dense vegetation that can obstruct radio waves. According to an article by Asian Military Review, conventional tactical radios can experience difficulties in penetrating the abundance of plant life in the jungle 1. However, there are some technologies that can help overcome these challenges. For example, Gird Systems has developed a technology that can achieve transmission ranges of up to 56.3 km (35 miles) through dense jungle canopy with a low signal-to-noise ratio 1. Another technology that can be used for long-range transmission is LoRa LPWAN. LoRa enables long-range transmissions (more than 10 km in rural areas) with low power consumption 2.
